Opening Your Account
To open your SunPass Prepaid Account:
- Download the application.
- Clearly print and complete the application.
- Either fax it to (888)265-1725 or mail the application.

Cost The cost of purchasing a transponder is $25 plus tax, plus a required $25 minimum initial balance. That means that you can get started with the SunPass Prepaid Toll Program for as little as $50 plus tax.

To receive your SunPass transponder in the mail, please send your check or money order, along with your completed SunPass application to:

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
You will receive an activated SunPass transponder within 3-5 business days from the date we receive your check/money order and completed application form.
